Good evening Mayors!
Just over 2 weeks have passed since the campaign ended, which means funds will be in our hands at the beginning of next week. As a result we've been reaching out to artists with card briefs, so we should have a lotof new cards tostart showing off in a few weeks time! Deciding what art to get done in the first wave has been fun, but a lot of the Hero Pack 1 cards are the first targets, so please look forward to the next wave of reveals!
And speaking of the pledge manager, we're so sorry that it's not up yet despite our previous estimates. We've had a few bumps along the road to getting it live, but we're confident that it should appear early next week. It'll be up for several weeks and we'll make sure every single one of you knows the moment it goes live.

Post-campaign add-on status!

Good evening everybody!
Just a small update from our end. The post-campaign add-on store is taking a little longer than planned to make public, but don't worry you won't miss out! It should be available by the end of the week and we'll be making an announcement the moment it goes live!
It'll allow all of you to add additional items to your pledge, and everything that has been available in the campaign will be available in the pledge manager.
We'll have a larger update for you all in a few days, until then take care of yourselves!

Mayors!
A huge THANK YOU to every single one of you from everyone here at Monster Channel! When we launched this project, we hadn't dared to dream it would be this successful, or that Animal Kingdom would gain such an amazing community so quickly. We sincerely appreciate each and every one of you - without you, this game, this world, these characters, and everything else about Animal Kingdom wouldn't be able to come to fruition. It means the world to us.
But a successful Kickstarter campaign is just the beginning of a much longer journey for us! So, what's next for Animal Kingdom?
The Backerkit pledge manager will become available for ALL backers in the next day or so, and this is where you can adjust your pledges and add extra add-ons if you wish! Backer surveys will be sent out in the coming days as well, to follow up on important information that we'll need from you all.
Anyone who missed their opportunity to pledge will be able to pre-order product later this year our Backerkit pre-order store. This product won't have the same discounts that were available here though, and not all of the same options will be available!
We'd like to announce that we will be applying additional funds raised from the pledge manager and pre-order store to our stretch goals! We'll be sure to let you know immediately if additional milestones are reached.
Our marketing efforts for Animal Kingdom don't stop now that the Kickstarter campaign has ended. We intend to grow Animal Kingdom and its community, so we will be working with content creators, running events, attending conventions -- you name it, we'll be doing it to help get the word out!
In that vein, we will be running a month-long online league later this Summer! This can be considered a preview of some of our plans for organised play. Exclusive prizes will be up for grabs, and more information will be handed out in due time!
Again, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts to our entire community. We are beyond excited to show you what's in store for Animal Kingdom, and ask that you'll join us in some of the following places so we can keep you fully in the loop with updates and discussion!

For those of you seeing the pledges in anything but GBP the current amount might not seem anything special, but for us over here in the UK it shows us having just broken £60,000, which means we're 3x above our initial goal! This is an incredible achievement for the project and is quickly bringing us towards out next stretch goal... Can we make it in time?
The Aisha the Glowskater playmat appears to be just as popular as we thought it would be, so that makes this a good time to let you know another piece by the same artist is currently in the works! Mirumey's cards have been popular with all of you, so we thought we'd show off the early sketch for her latest piece.
A sketch right now, but in time it'll become a beautiful new card!
This card will be the first to be illustrated from the cycle of Songstresses, one of which will feature in each attribute. Knowing what you do so far about each attribute, can you guess which one this lovely chiroptera will belong to?

New playmats! Aisha appears to be a particular favourite.
Good job everybody!
As of a few hours ago, the new playmat stretch goal was unlocked! Dream Archive Bibliosoph and Aisha the Glowskater are now available as playmat add-ons, alongside the 4 main Assistant Mayors!
There is also still 1 Creator Tier slot left for anyone out there who may be still considering it. If you're interested and have any questions about it, our messages are open!
The last little tidbit for tonight is that 2lainz over at the Card Game Crypt has done a How to Play video which is well worth a watch! Very much a change of pace from our own, with a lot of the channel's signature humour and style.
